Position Overview
Lead product strategy, development, deployment, and operational monitoring for Healthy Learners’ technical products and third-party tools used in its School Health Program. Drive national-scale rollouts across Zambia and prepare for multi-country expansion while bridging engineering, program delivery, government stakeholders, and NGO partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the product roadmap, backlog, releases, KPIs, and operational SLAs.
• Translate program requirements into specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee design, development, QA, UAT, deployment, and post-release monitoring.
• Lead national rollouts, training, device provisioning, and offline/online synchronization strategies.
• Manage vendors, integrations, data-sharing agreements, security, and data-protection compliance.
• Build product capacity across program teams and government partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Public Health, International Development, or a related field; master’s preferred. At least six years of product-management or technology-deployment leadership experience, preferably in public health, NGOs, international development, or low-resource environments. Strong technical literacy, stakeholder management, user-centered design, and data-driven decision-making are required.
